Monsieur Mandaka Timothée, Porte-parole FCM en RDC

FCM Spokesperson

Monsieur Mandaka Timothée

Democratic Republic of Congo

The Chantal Massembo Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mandaka Timothée as Spokesperson of the Chantal Massembo Foundation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

This appointment marks a new step in strengthening the Foundation's communication, representation and community mobilization in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

It reflects the trust placed in a man who knows the Foundation, its philosophy, its values and the principles that guide its commitment.

FCM Spokesperson mission

Why Mr. Mandaka Timothée?

This appointment is based above all on his knowledge of the Chantal Massembo Foundation and the vision it wishes to promote in Africa and internationally. He knows the philosophy that guides our action. It is simple, but demanding:

SERVIR.

Serve without seeking honors
Serve with integrity
Serve with responsibility
Serve with respect for human dignity
Serve for others and for the common good

The Foundation believes that representing an organization does not rest solely on the ability to speak in public. It also requires a good understanding of its mission, a responsible attitude, communication faithful to its values and a willingness to contribute to its influence.

A Mission of Representation and Mobilization

Representation and mobilization mission

As Spokesperson in the DRC, Mr. Mandaka Timothée will notably contribute to:

Presenting the Foundation's vision, values and orientations
Making its programs and initiatives known to the public
Explaining the possibilities for participating in Foundation activities
Facilitating exchanges with associations and community actors
Encouraging the engagement of youth, women and local leaders
Participating in institutional communication and awareness activities
Contributing to the visibility of field actions
Carrying the Foundation's voice at meetings, interviews and public activities, in accordance with institutional guidelines

A Vision That Places the Human Being at the Center

The Chantal Massembo Foundation develops a development approach based on human dignity, solidarity, training and community participation. Its areas of intervention include:

Education and literacy
Health and community awareness
Environmental protection
Women's empowerment
Child protection
Youth and employment
Entrepreneurship and innovation
Agriculture and rural development
Housing and infrastructure
Culture and sustainable tourism
Governance and community development

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, this vision requires close communication, better information flow and collaboration with people who know the realities of their communities.

Vision of the Chantal Massembo Foundation

Making the Foundation Known, but Above All Making Its Mission Understood

The Foundation wants its communication to go beyond the usual institutional presentations. It is not only about talking about its programs, its leaders or its ambitions. It is also about explaining why it acts, who it wishes to address and how citizens, associations and partners can participate in its initiatives.

A young person must be able to understand how to access training.

An association must be able to discover collaboration opportunities.

A woman entrepreneur must be able to identify exchange and support spaces that can be useful to her.

A community leader must be able to present the needs of their territory.

A partner must be able to understand the objectives of a project and the possibilities for cooperation.

Our Ambition: Moving from Speeches to Solutions

Our ambition is not only to talk about poverty. Our ambition is to act, train, mobilize and create solutions.

Poverty, unemployment, difficulties in accessing education and inequalities cannot be sustainably fought with simple declarations. We must strengthen skills, encourage initiative, support community organization, value talents and create cooperation opportunities.

The Foundation deeply believes that great transformations begin when women and men decide to take their responsibilities and participate in improving their environment.

A Responsibility Based on Trust and Integrity

The role of Spokesperson requires great responsibility. It involves respecting the Foundation's guidelines, communicating reliable information, preserving the institution's credibility and exercising discernment in public statements. This appointment does not simply represent personal recognition. It constitutes a responsibility in service of a collective vision.

Welcome to This Mission of Service

The Chantal Massembo Foundation extends its congratulations to Mr. Mandaka Timothée for this appointment. We wish him every success in this mission of representation, communication and mobilization in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We are convinced that building a more solidarity-based society requires women and men capable of going beyond individual interests to contribute to a collective ambition.

Monsieur Simplice Kenné

A coordinator in service of the international community

Monsieur Simplice Kenné, Coordinateur Général FCM

Affectionate nickname

« the General Coordinator »

For nearly a year, Mr. Simplice Kenné has been carrying out an important mission within the Chantal Massembo Foundation. A committed administrator, attentive coordinator and man deeply attached to the sense of service, he contributes every day to the organization, facilitation and monitoring of the Foundation's activities.

With patience, rigor and availability, he maintains the link between members, leaders, partner associations and community actors from different countries.

Over the months, participants in the Foundation's regular meetings gave him a nickname that has become familiar: 'the General Coordinator'. This title reflects much more than a function. It testifies to a regular presence, a capacity for listening and a daily commitment to people who, despite their differences in background, culture and nationality, share the same desire: to contribute to the development of their communities.

A Man Always Present at the Meeting

For nearly a year, Mr. Simplice Kenné has been participating in the facilitation and coordination of numerous meetings organized by the Foundation.

Participants from approximately 22 nationalities have taken part, presenting their projects, territorial realities, difficulties and aspirations.

Even when the days are long and situations are complex, he strives to maintain the qualities that characterize his approach: calm, politeness, patience and respect for everyone.

Coordinating Means Above All Creating Bridges

At the Chantal Massembo Foundation, coordination is not limited to scheduling meetings, transmitting information or ensuring administrative follow-up. It consists above all of creating bridges:

Between countries and communities
Between generations
Between associations and field actors
Between ideas and projects
Between people who wish to contribute to development and those who need support
Between local initiatives and cooperation opportunities

He contributes to sustaining an international approach based on an essential conviction: every community has human resources, knowledge and capacities that can contribute to its own development.
