Humanitarian action is an emergency response to crises affecting the most vulnerable populations. It is based on the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence.
Forms of Humanitarian Action
Humanitarian action takes many forms: emergency food aid, medical care, temporary shelter, water and sanitation, civilian protection, psychosocial support.
Emergency Response
The Foundation is mobilized to respond quickly to humanitarian crises in Africa: armed conflicts, natural disasters, epidemics, population displacements.
Protection of the Most Vulnerable
Women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities are the most affected by humanitarian crises. The Foundation places their protection at the heart of its action.
Reconstruction and Resilience
Beyond the emergency, the Foundation supports reconstruction processes and strengthening the resilience of communities affected by crises.
International Solidarity
The Foundation mobilizes international solidarity to support African populations in distress, calling on donors, volunteers, and institutional partners.
Africa Facing Crises
Africa is particularly exposed to humanitarian crises: armed conflicts, droughts, floods, epidemics. These crises hinder development and worsen poverty.
